HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leadership - Serving as a member of Plant Management Leadership Team, holding departments and AM Leads accountable for adherence to developing and improving AM capabilities within their departments. Leading category meeting to align direction in this and other plants. Ensuring achievement of all unit Key Performance Indicators while sharing best practices and training, coaching and assessing the implementation of Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Center of Excellence (COE) methodologies

  • Alignment – You will be a key player in collaborating with our Reliability Maintenance (RM) team to improve asset maintainability and vertical start-up. You will also be responsible for directly aligning with our Kellogg North America Director, to ensure execution on Kellogg Work Streams (KWS) phased implementation.

  • Continuous Improvement and Development - Responsible for the standardization of implementation as part of Autonomous Maintenance capability building. Accountable for compliance with all Employee Safety, Food Safety and Sanitation policies and regulations.

  • Keeping it interesting – Position is located in Zanesville, OH and involves communication and coordination with all Kellogg frozen food plants. This position will require traveling to and working in, other manufacturing facilities. 75% of your time will involve traveling and may require work beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.

    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

    Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or significant experience in a related area

  • Strong supervisory/managerial experience

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of implementation of Autonomous Maintenance across multiple plants and teams

  • Experience with SMED, 5S, and Work Process Improvement, Problem Solving, FMEA, KSUM Support.

  • Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and motivate others

  • Collaborative work style, working cross-functionally is a big part of this role

    Bonus Points:

  • Project management experience

  • Ability to operate in a union environment, promoting positive labor relations
