Advance your career as a National Account Manager specializing in selling to commercial restaurants. This remote position is responsible for the East Zone, with two reporting Key Account Executives. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Account Development – As a National Account Manager you will take ownership of your business by working with the appropriate levels and functions of the customer organization. You will identify key issues and generate creative solutions designed to strengthen the branded partnerships that go beyond the status quo while achieving breakthrough results.
Strategic Partnerships – Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders you will develop strategic business plans for assigned accounts to drive for opportunities that sustain Kellogg’s competitive edge.
Analytics – Knowing your business will be imperative in driving sales growth. Understanding and effectively leveraging customer, industry, and internal sales information, you will drive compliance and sustain a competitive edge.
Budget Management – You will be responsible for Kellogg’s overall financial health and wellbeing of each customer’s product portfolio, trade and travel spend.
People Leadership – Putting your leadership skills to work you will create an environment that fosters and promotes independent thinking, intelligent risk-taking, and problem-solving by communicating expectations. You will coach and motivate your direct reports and broker partners through positive support, reward, and reinforcement. Encouraging participation, initiative, creativity, and ownership you will provide as much job autonomy as possible.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Foodservice industry experience in commercial restaurant national account sales
Strong understanding of trade strategy and negotiation skills
Ability to understand market dynamics, forecast results, and analyze and interpret data
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong and professional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to leverage data trends/insights to support selling proposition
Must have strong organizational and project management skillsets and the self-discipline to effectively work remotely
The ideal candidate will reside in Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North/South Carolina, New York, or Tennessee .
A flexible work schedule and the ability to travel overnight up to 30-40% of the time but may vary depending on location of residency.
This position provides participation in the Kellogg Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.
