HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Maintaining Equipment andAmplifying your PLC knowledge– You willbe constantly alternating in betweentroubleshooting, preventativemaintenance, and on the spot machine repair. You will need a firm focus andunderstanding of programmable logic controllers (RSLOGIX 5000, 500, &5), low voltage circuits AC and DC, abilityto install, configure and commission panel-views.The ability to setup and configure RSLinx forserial, DH+, and Ethernet drivers. Also, this person must be creative in theirsolutions without being unclear in their documentation.
Analyzing Conditions andProviding Solutions - Identifying and examiningproduction equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the helpof interpreting schematics and drawings. Investigating and repairing electrical& mechanical systems such as: pneumatics, hydraulics, DC circuits, drives andconveyors.
Pr ioritizing Innovation and Communication- Actively seeking ways toimprove plant efficiency and cost savings and maintaining an open dialogue withlead and supervisor regarding day-to-day activities.
YOUR RECIPE FORSUCCESS
High School diploma or GED
Basic computer skills including MicrosoftOffice
Experience troubleshooting PLC programs and hardware
Must have a working knowledge of theNational Electric Code
Must be able to read and interpretelectrical and electronic/mechanical drawings, prints, schematics,and computer programs
Must have demonstrated ability totroubleshoot and repair electronic and computerized equipment including RS Logix (5,500, and 5000), Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI programming,AC/DC drives, motor control systems, and related equipment and systems
Must follow all Safety and Food Safetyguidelines
This position requiresregular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies.Additionally, the ability to interact well with other employees and workovertime, as necessary, is required
Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and /or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employee will be required tooccasionally lift up to 50lbs
Associate’s Degree in an electrical/electricaltechnology field or closely related discipline
General mechanic experience with relatedtechnical degree
Desired qualifications to includewelding, machining, pipe fitting, processing/packing machinery repair,conveying equipment and belting, sheet metal work, and the ability to workefficiently and cohesively in a fast paced, goal orientatedenvironment.
