HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Conducting Preventative Maintenance – Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, conveyors, pumps, mixers, industrial ovens, etc. in our cookie bakery. You’ll aim for excellence every day, helping us bring the best to families.

  • Ensuring Performance Efficiency – Manage machine performance by doing equipment set-up and change-overs. You’ll facilitate production and quickly respond to equipment breakdowns. We’re looking for someone who brings dedication to the table!

  • Following Best Practices – Understand, follow and enforce all established guidelines. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with all safety, health, quality and company policies, procedures and recognized practices. You’ll help us keep delivering success, one cookie at a time.

  • Your daily tasks can include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Follow direction from the planner or Maintenance Supervisor.

  • Troubleshoot equipment and Conduct equipment inspections.

  • Interface directly with equipment operators and Supervisors in order to identify all equipment issues and use the CMMS (SAP) system to report.

  • Perform assigned work in accordance with established Maintenance Standard Work and plant policies and procedures.

  • Execute work orders as directed in planned work instructions and approved maintenance standard work.

  • Report inaccuracies, incorrect data and/or instructions in work plans, work packages, drawings and procedures to planners and supervision as required.

  • Report and document:

  • Problem description

  • Troubleshooting process (for Unplanned Work)

  • Corrective Action

  • Parts/Materials used

  • Tools used

  • Labor hours

  • Maintain work areas upon completion of maintenance. Follow established housekeeping procedures.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day.

  • Previous experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing setting

  • Experience with troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.

Bonus Points:

  • Basic machinist work

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing

  • Previous welding experience

  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • SAP experience
