Kellogg Fixed Assets Management Analyst in QUERÉTARO, Mexico

Grow with us as Finance Analyst Supply Chain in the Kellogg LA Team . You will be responsible for executing activities of the assigned Fixed Assets Management end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) processes, such as:

  • Perform reconciliations of accounts.

  • Consistently meets compliance measures and achieves service levelagreements.

  • Achieves quality delivery and efficiency within a strong internalcontrol framework.

  • Contributes to a team environment that is focused on high performanceand operational excellence.

Researches and corrects any imbalances that might arise.

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Typically reports to: Global Fixed Assets Senior Analyst / SS SR ProcessOwner (reporting relationship may change as the Global Fixed Assets teamgrows).

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

  • Peer relationships exist across multiple functions throughout theorganization (e.g., GBS, Finance, BU, Audit, RtR teams, Contract Owners,Planning & Reporting, etc.).

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Execute day-to-day Fixed Assets activities.

  • Execute the Fixed Assets month-end process.

  • Perform reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Support the preparation of management reporting and performancemeasurement

  • Communicate with other Team Members and with Management on issues andareas for improvement.

  • Work closely with the appropriate teams to ensure all fixed assetsdisputes are minimized by addressing root causes of disputes raised.

  • Execute and provide any Fixed Assets initiatives with the aim tosimplify standardize, globalize processes, as needed.

  • Provide support to the Fixed Assets Senior analyst or Process Owner.

  • Forecast for cash flow accounts.

  • Investigate & resolve Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss variances.

  • SOX / Internal and External Audits

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Global Fixed Assets & GBSLeadership.

  • Provide KPIs and operational indicators, understanding root causes.

  • Identify simplification, standardization and automatizationopportunities on the daily activities and processes.

  • Identify and communicate process issues and opportunities to thesupervisor/ team leader.

  • Listens and communicates effectively within the team and all other areasinvolved, building a win-win networking relationship.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

Required:

Minimum:

  • BA/BS Accounting degree.

  • 2 year ofrelevant experience; 3+ years preferred.

  • Proficient inEnglish language (verbal & written).

  • Proficiencywith ERP financial modules such as SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling Modules)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel – Required; Experience with Word,PowerPoint, and Access - Preferred.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a shared services, process driven or deliverycenter environment.

  • Strongunderstanding of accounting principles and US GAAP.

  • Expertise inRecord to Report function including best practices, technologies, processes,procedures and tools.

  • Experienceworking for a multinational organization and working with colleaguesinternationally.

  • Processed and Packaged foods industry experience
