IT Engineer – Collaboration Technologies

We have an opening for you to grow with us as an IT Engineer – Global Collaboration Technologies, located in either Oak Brook, IL; Battle Creek, MI; or Mississauga, ON.


Implement Collaboration Tools & Technology: Work with the Global IT Collaboration Team to implement collaboration tools and technology. Implement, optimize and manage our Microsoft Office 365 collaboration solutions like: MS Teams, Yammer, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online - Including knowledge of their licensing, authentication and integration capabilities as well as management of their mobile applications.

Upgrades & Migrations: Contribute to integration of MS Teams and SharePoint Online with other collaboration solutions. Contribute to the management of our current O365 environment, executing application upgrades and migrations when required. Help define and implement document management and user privilege policies.

End User Experience Optimization : Gather customer requirements, collaborate with change management teams, develop and execute training for end users to optimize the use and value of our Microsoft collaboration investment across Kellogg globally.

Strong Troubleshooting: Your strong Microsoft solutions troubleshooting skills to be able to leverage application behaviors, errors and logs to identify dependencies and arrive to root cause and long-term fixes for complex problems.

Teamwork Across IT at Kellogg’s : Use your IT experience to work across technology silos and re-engineer delivery and operational processes generating labor reduction and cost savings. Challenge the status-quo and bring ideas to the table to deliver improvements to our Communication and Collaboration environments through process automation and innovation approaches.


Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining Microsoft based communications and collaboration enterprise solutions

  • Experience managing MS Teams in a large enterprise environment

  • Experience with MS Teams Enterprise Voice a bonus

  • Experience driving adoption and managing Yammer solutions in large enterprise environments

  • Experience managing and maintaining SharePoint environments

  • Document the collaboration solutions like OneDrive

  • Ability to work across functional silos and promote adoption of new tools and processes across the Collaboration Technologies environment

  • Able to balance multiple concurrent priorities and deliver results independently

  • Strong technical problem solving, teamwork and communication skills

  • Able to coach and mentor junior staff and enable them to understand and manage new platforms

  • Must be a confident, self-starter, self-motivated individual who really enjoys the challenges that come with managing a large scale enterprise collaboration environment

    Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry

  • Experience in Teams Enterprise Voice

  • Experience with PowerApps
