Kellogg Senior Electrical Engineer in Jackson, Tennessee

  • Determining “best alternative” project solutions

  • Assessing and communicating technical risks

  • Supporting Manufacturing Facilities – You will be providing technical support to our manufacturing facilities in the areas of electrical power and control systems such as medium and low voltage electrical infrastructure systems and equipment, manufacturing control platforms, PLC control hardware systems (Rockwell), control system software applications, GUI/HMI graphic software applications (Rockwell, Wonderware, Ignition), integration protocol, SAP software, information gathering systems (OSI-PI), and electrical/utility code requirements

  • Cost-Effective Innovation – You will discover and evaluate energy reduction technologies, new Green conservation and sustainability initiatives, and other cost-effective solutions to electrical and utility infrastructure systems

  • Creating Documentation – Developing and maintaining electrical and software/control system specifications, design standards and cost estimating data

  • Project Management – You will be working with cross-functional teams to lead and manage projects and programs

  • Capability Development - We grow together every day. You will have an opportunity to coach and mentor less experienced engineers to ensure we develop strong teams and provide career advancement.



  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline

  • Significant experience in electrical engineering

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and sanitation principles related to food plant design, equipment fabrication, food safety, personnel requirements, and project execution

  • Project Management and budget execution experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

    Bonus Points:

  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering

  • A master’s degree in engineering or technical discipline
