Kellogg Human Resources & Labor Relations Business Partner in Cincinnati, Ohio

As the Human Resources & Labor Relations Business Partner, you will play a key role in Human Resources Department at the Cincinnati Plant: working to drive employee engagement and building a high performance, continuous improvement-focused culture. HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Set the Pace – In accordance with Kellogg’s values, you’ll drive the overall management of Positive Employee Relations for the plant including dispute resolution, accountability, investigations, and promoting positive employee relationships.

  • Collaboration is Key – Reporting to the Plant Human Resources Manager, you’ll build relationships with all levels of employees including the Kellogg North America Manufacturing Business Unit HRBP and Global Business Services (GBS) as appropriate.

  • Fresh Thinking – You’ll partner with site leadership in HR policy, dispute resolution, and positive employee relations, which will require a high level of discretion and independent operation. You will provide policy interpretation & training as well.

  • Tools for Success – Driving manager and employee adoption of continuous improvement, HR technology, service delivery model, and programs.

  • Agility – You’ll lead or perform all traditional HR Generalist activities. Your attention to detail will be critical!

    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

    Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in HR or a related field

  • Five plus years Human Resources Generalist experience

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Data analytic skills

  • Flexible working hours including extended hours & weekends on an as-needed basis

  • High level of discretion , cred i bility & courage to drive crucial conversations

  • Effective communicat ion skills

    Bonus Points:

  • Graduate Degree or higher in HR or a related field

  • Food industry experience

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Continuous improvement experience

  • Experience working in a union environment

  • Proven history of successful people management

  • Experience using Kronos/Ceridian

  • Experience using SAP
