Kellogg Continuous Improvement Specialist/Site Resource in Cincinnati, Ohio

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will play a key role on the Kellogg Continuous Improvement Team by overall plant initiatives to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).


  • Tools for Success: Leverage KWS (Kellogg Work Systems) strategic methodologies, systems and tools, such as 5-S, Autonomous Maintenance, problem-solving, process mapping and loss analysis to drive results of key KPIs for the site. Deliver robust and effective presentations, using your communication skills to be a change agent.

  • Drive Change: Gather and analyze performance data. Identify process inefficiencies and execute process improvements and cost savings projects that successfully deliver results. Track and communicate projects for visibility across the plant and teams.

  • Strategize to Win: Engage individual employees and teams to identify opportunities, problem solve and implement sustainable countermeasures.

  • Impact Results: Champion KWS systems and tools to eliminate losses.

  • Empower Efficiency: Conduct audits on programs and systems to ensure they are meeting KWS standards of excellence.

  • Empower Teams: Provide training to all associates on KWS methodologies, systems and tools to build capability in operations and support teams.



  • Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, KWS, HPO)

  • Manufacturing Experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

  • Effectively communicate complex matters in a simple understandable format to multiple levels

  • HS Diploma/GED and commensurate experience professionally supporting/implementing Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing and / or Six Sigma principles

    Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering

  • Food Manufacturing Experience

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize requests from multiple sources

  • A passion to learn new things and to teach others

  • Proficient in Tableau, Microsoft Project
