Kellogg Supply Chain Business Partner in Chicago, Illinois

Join our team in the Natural & Insurgent category as a Senior Supply Chain Business Partner. In this role, you will partner across locations to support the business and to help navigate the increased complexity within the category. This role will work closely with senior members of the across the business unit supporting RXBAR, Kashi, Bear Naked products to ensure that supply needs are met. This role will also help develop and drive the cost-savings pipeline. Importantly, this role will also help set the Supply Chain strategy and work closely with HQ-based partners to identify and execute top line opportunities and future innovation to meet business plans.

This position can be based in either the greater Chicagoland area or in Michigan.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Execute Projects & Innovations – You will be responsible for the planning and execution of key innovation (PDR), Supply Chain (SCR), Packaging (PWR) and other Commercial projects following LAM and other approval steps.

  • Identify Supply Chain Solutions – You will be responsible to pursue and investigate solutions with key cross-functional areas (Integrated Planning, Procurement Packaging, BU SC, Sales, Marketing & RQNT) to capacity and financial questions in order to meet top line and future innovation business requirements

  • Lead & Participate – You will provide regular updates during weekly and monthly meetings across business units and across levels for the N&I category. You will participate in Transformation Projects with a continuous improvement mindset to identify new ways of working.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Foster and develop a strong working relationships with key cross-functional working areas to ensure business unit needs are taken into consideration

    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

    Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent or related years of work experience

  • Extensive business experience including several years logistics management and manufacturing experience in packaged goods industry; thorough knowledge of Innovation process, Manufacturing, Comanufacturing and Co-Packing operations

  • Demonstrated excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation, coaching, leadership and ability to influence without authority

  • Project Management experience and Financial skills are essential to effectively organize strategies, processes and people

    Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering degree preferred

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities from multiple sources at any given time

  • Must have ability to interact with all areas and levels of the organization and understand their impact on overall company performance.
