HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Regional Team Leadership: Leading, coaching, recruiting and developing a team of 8 Kellogg Sales Manager direct reports and approximately 100 Kellogg Sales Representatives to realize and achieve sustainable annual business targets and growth plan over select brands and categories. A key member of the Retail Leadership Team that demonstrates national and strategic approach for customers like Meijer, Kroger, Walmart, Albertsons, among others.
Driving Growth: Accountable for POS sales and achieving customer budgets, display metrics, in store execution of sales strategy. Providing oversight of Retail Sales and driving sustainable growth leading in-store activities such as incremental selling, features & displays, delivering perfect shelf, ensuring store implementation of displays, compression selling and specific store sales requests. Partnering with the Account Management teams to ensure alignment between cross functional areas executing key customer sales plans, business analytics, insights and sales strategies and initiatives
Tools of the Trade: Accountable for setting direction and communicating quarterly retail plans and key initiatives with leaders in all categories as well as managing their corresponding budget to adhere to quarterly plans. Responsible for leading self and team in analyzing key performance indicators, deployment priorities and activities along with managing and leveraging 3rd party data to drive sustainable growth plans. Responsible for collaboration in the development and execution of tactical tools to support new business, product and program introductions.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Extensive and progressive sales and multi-functional experience such as category management, account management and sales planning, among other related areas.
Previous track record of exceptional leadership of cross functional sales teams producing strong and sustainable results in a sales leadership capacity
Previous experience communicating complex and detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally
Master’s degree with extensive sales industry experience in different channels.
Progressively responsible sales experience including field and headquarters sales in the CPG industry and leading large and/or complex teams with both onsite and remote team members
This position may be based anywhere within the Central US Region. This position requires travel (driving & flying) throughout the Central US Region to Sales Meetings / Customer Meetings.
