Kellogg National Account Executive - Small Format in California

Working closely with customer contacts at Circle K (National and Regional Business Units) and other key West Coast Retailers, you will lead and own the responsibility of driving profitable business growth, within high volume categories, and influence all purchasing decisions of customers.   • Account Management – In this exciting role you will develop, execute, and monitor strategic annual business plans for assigned top accounts. You will play an important role in promoting a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed all needs, requirements, and expectations.

  • Internal / External Collaboration - Educating and developing rapport with internal and external customers you will promote partnerships, seek feedback and proactively addressing customer needs and requests.

  • Customer Focus – You will strive to maintain Kellogg’s in market leadership, expertise and awareness of all retailer and category trends, as well as competitor’s strategies.

  • Nimble Learning - Forecasting projected sales accurately and investment ongoing you will leverage Kellogg’s “Customer Relationship Management” planning tools.

  • Drives Results – You will work to successfully deliver all budgets by category, including Sales, Trade Investment and Marketing.



  • Substantial related sales experience working with wholesale and / or retail accounts

  • Ability to create a selling story using data

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Advanced negotiation skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Substantial related work experience with Convenience and Small Format accounts both retail and wholesale

  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software applications

  • Experience selling in the consumer packaged goods market


    The ideal candidate will reside in Southern California however we may be open to candidates in other locations within the state of California.

  • This position will require some travel, up to 50% of the time overnight but may vary depending on location of residency.

  • This position provides participation in the Kellogg Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.
