Kellogg Sr. Global Structural Engineer in BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

In the role of the Global Technology Facilities Engineer, you’ll use your vast technical skills combined with strong leadership to manage the global civil, structural, and architectural components to create a competitive advantage. Think roofs, drains, walls, ceilings, pavement, wet basins, air systems and more to really help drive business through strong, sound facilities.

This role has the option to sit remote but must be within driving distance to our Battle Creek Headquarters , we need your expertise and leadership in person during global or local meetings on occasion. Ready for the challenge?

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Facilities Capacity, Capability, and Cost of Ownership– you’ll own all documentation on current equipment, conditions, processes and capabilities globally. Your network of EHS and QFS peers will be regular go to’s as you gain clear input on the needs of the business.

Overall Global Management – in this role, you’ll do it all, from being the technical go to for plants around the globe, defining the project scope with local PM’s, managing metrics and provide overall monitoring and guidance to all projects affecting facility infrastructure globally

Future Oriented - are you up on the trends in the space? Great! We will lean on you to provide recommendations, explore and test next generation technology to support the business. You’ll develop a 10 year investment roadmap building off the local or regional master plan.

Mentor, Coach and Lead – we know you are a technical individual, but show off your leadership skills while you mentor and coach other engineers to advance the overall technical ability of the group.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 10 years applicable civil/structural/architectural work experience

Experience working closely with operations / maintenance departments in a plant

History of establishing programs to construct, design, and maintain facility infrastructure regionally or globally

Bonus Points:

Food Industry Experience.
