Kellogg Senior Paralegal in Battle Creek, Michigan

As a Senior Paralegal located in Battle Creek, MI you will use your advanced people and organizational skills to support the Brands Practice Group attorneys and assist in advertising review and contract drafting. Your passion for interpersonal relationships and accomplishing goals is a key ingredient to your success. This position will be on a hybrid schedule – going into the office 2 days a week!

  • Advertising Review and Contracts - You will be responsible for reviewing advertising and promotion materials to ensure legal and contractual compliance. You will lead contract drafting of promotional agreements at the direction of Brands attorneys.

  • Organization and Planning - We know you take pride in your organizational skills and want to apply them. You will manage claims development processes and tools. You will also lead process trainings.

  • You will also manage the company wide advertising review tool and advertising claim process, and be the subject matter expert on the process for the globe. Periodically will also engage with major stakeholders to drive engagement, share system updates, and encourage best practices.

  • Communication – Are you ready to help us Make It Better? Supporting internal customers is a snap, crackle, and pop with the right people skills.

  • Projects & Partners – This is your opportunity to let your creativity, independence, collaboration, confidence, and impact shine. Interface with Global and regional Marketing, R&D and Wellbeing teams in claims creation and management. In addition to opportunities to manage projects on behalf of the Legal & Compliance department.



  • High School Diploma and 6-10 years’ experience supporting legal team or senior management

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills and detail orientation

  • Must possess strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Capable of managing a cross-functional project

  • Ability to interact and communicate complex and technical information across multiple levels

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision

    Bonus Points:

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree

  • Knowledge of SharePoint and MS Teams

  • Experience working with global teams & processes
