Kellogg Senior Manager of Commercial Strategy in Battle Creek, Michigan

You will manage an assigned portion of the business to achieve the Quarterly and Annual Net Sales Budget, Operating Profits, and Market Share growth - all while building your expertise and network.

  • Commercial Strategy - In this role, you will work to develop and implement category strategies and create plans that lead to the successful implementation of the vision. We are looking to you to address risk and opportunities to enable the delivery of Net Sales, Sales Contribution, and Market Share objectives.

  • Business Insights - You will proactively track, analyze and make strategic and tactical recommendations behind program results. It will be necessary for you to provide perspective and solutions to the marketplace. By sharing achievements or best practices as they relate to events you will help to set others up for success.

  • Project Management - Putting your project management skills to work you will frequently lead key Multifunctional Projects, which will drive Sales and Business Unit objectives. You will be accountable for chartering new projects, upon demand.

  • Trade Strategy - In this position you will utilize Trade Strategy/Revenue Growth Management learnings to develop and deploy strategic trade plans to drive core distribution gains.



  • High School Diploma / GED

  • Strong background in the areas of brand management or headquarter account sales.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines, specific time constraints, and conflicting priorities. Must be able to prioritize projects within heavy workload periods

  • This position requires the incumbent to frequently work in dynamic, short time-lined situations that require working extended hours

  • Strong organizational, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong Analytical skills: the ability to interpret Nielson Data, SAP, and Market Research.

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications

  • The ability to work with many people at varying levels of experience and authority.

  • Ability to work in conditions, which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints. Frequent travel is a requirement of this position
