Kellogg Financial Analyst - Integrated Marketing in Battle Creek, Michigan

In this role, you will support the Integrated Marketing and Omni teams by providing data, completing month end processing, preparing forecasts, budgets and adhoc reports. You will be responsible for moderately complex financial analysis by collecting, monitoring and studying data to recommend actions. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Developing Cross-Functional Partnerships – You will interact directly with the Integrated Marketing and Omni team to provide guidance around reports, analytics, strategic plans, business plans, and targets. Communication is key!

  • Risk and Opportunity Team Meetings – Prepare all Purchase Orders (POs) within active campaigns to ensure funds in vs. funds out is within budgeted allocations. Help with risk vs. opportunity analysis by communicating with vendors and marketing team members to determine if all invoices are received so active POs can be reduced and closed.

  • Creating financial reports in Excel – Create and manipulate custom reports from SAP and Anaplan for teams so they have a better idea of how/where funds were applied over any period of time.

  • Accurate Analysis – Sharing insights! You will perform moderately complex financial analyses and reports for management across functions, actively involved in process improvement.

  • Training – Work with Omni, Coupon and Promo team members (and others) to demonstrate how the system works, how to request POs and/or check requests, how to navigate in systems and even how to request access to certain systems.

    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

    Required:

  • Post-secondary education, Business Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce.

  • 2 + years relevant experience

  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Proven experience using SAP and Excel for reporting and analysis purposes.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and results oriented.

  • Ability to learn internal budgeting and finance tools at the company including Anaplan.
